Tribute gifts are donations made in recognition of a person or an event.  There are two common types as follows.

MEMORIAL GIFTS – These donations are made in remembrance of someone who passed away. Many people now request this type of gift be made in lieu of flowers, for a more lasting legacy. 

HONOR GIFTS – This type of tribute gift is for special occasions or milestones, such as an anniversary, a birthday, a graduation, Mother's or Father's Day. The idea is that many of us already have too many physical, tangible gifts.  

 

Consider a gift to Ascension Parish "in memorial of" or "in honor of" a person or an event.
