The Church of the Ascension was dedicated 55 years ago on October 29, 1967, by SF Archbishop Joseph Thomas McGucken.

Ascension Parish was established three years earlier in 1964 and its first pastor was Fr. William Worner.  In two years, we will celebrate our 60th anniversary.

About 30,000+ liturgies (Mass, sacraments) were celebrated in this church.  We give thanks to God for the blessings through these liturgies and through one another.
